Why is the app downloading large files on first launch?
Speaklone uses advanced AI models to generate speech. These models are 1-2 GB each and download on first use. After downloading, the app works completely offline.
What devices are supported?
Speaklone requires Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3/M4 Macs or iPhones with A-series chips) and macOS 26+ or iOS 26+. The AI models require the Neural Engine found in Apple Silicon.
Is my voice data sent to the cloud?
No. All voice processing happens 100% on your device. Your voice recordings, cloned voices, and generated audio never leave your Mac or iPhone. See our Privacy Policy for details.
How do I restore my Pro purchase on a new device?
Open Speaklone, go to Settings, and tap "Restore Purchases." Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you used for the original purchase.
Voice generation is slow. Is this normal?
Generation speed depends on your device and text length. On M1 Macs, expect roughly real-time generation. Longer texts take proportionally longer. Enabling "Stream audio while generating" in Settings can reduce perceived wait time.
